To undertake such a voyage takes support from a range of people.  Some have provided advice, while others have assisted us with equipment and other in-kind assistance.

We would like to acknowledge, and personally endorse the following organisations and their products.  Although some have helped as outlined above, we would like to make it clear that none have provided money, but we have been pleased to use their products and would recommend them to anyone!

Seawind Catamarans:  SCARLETT is a Seawind 1160 made by our good friends at www.seawindcats.com  in fact she is our second Seawind, after owning INDIGO, a Seawind 1000 also built by Richard Ward and his team.

Barracouta Sails:  SCARLETT’s sails are made by Barracouta, who provided her original set, as well as replacements which we’re sure will last the circumnavigation!  Visit Neil Tasker at:  barracoutasails.com

Navionics Navigation:  We exclusively use Navionics to guide SCARLETT - whether that is on our Raymarine E120, on our Apple iPhones or on our Apple iPads!  Consistent charts across platforms is a real bonus, and a great safety feature: see www.navionics.com

Raymarine Instruments:  We have installed Raymarine instruments throughout - for their durability and to have a comprehensive system where “everything just works”!  SCARLETT has Raymarine Chart Plotter (E120), Wind Instruments, Speed, Depth, Log, Tridata, Autohelm and Radar.  We recently added the AIS500 from Raymarine and we are planning to integrate the Raymarine Man-Overboard Tag system for added safety, particularly where family are concerned!  See www.raymarine.com.au

Cumberland Charter Yachts:  SCARLETT has been available for charter with Cumberland Charter Yachts (CCY) and they continue to provide wonderful service to charterers and to owners alike.  We have been most happy with our relationship with CCY and would recommend them to anyone.  See www.ccy.com.au

OpenOcean Watermaker:  Producing up to 140 litres of pure fresh water an hour - our OpenOcean Watermaker was chosen for its efficiency, simplicity and great value.
